Parent Teacher Club (PTC)

The purpose of the Parent Teacher Club at Sheridan Elementary is to promote a sense of community between families, students and staff by the following:

 

• Engage with families with events, activities and assemblies in order to create a culture where every Eagle feels safe to learn and grow.
• Create incentives for positive behavior and academic success within the Sheridan student body.
• Encourage and support staff to create a learning environment that promotes social and academic excellence in all students. 

MEETINGS

 

The PTC normally meets the last Tuesday of each month at 3:30pm. Location varies. All parents/family members are welcome. 

EVENTS

 

The Parent Teacher Club has two major fundraisers during the year. Our Color Fun Run in October and the Potter’s Ticket Sale in the Spring. These efforts help fund educational assemblies, field trip transportation and scholarships as well as enrichment materials such as curriculum supports for staff and incentive rewards for students.
